Throughout William Shakespeare’s plays, hundreds of plants and herbs are constantly mentioned and celebrated as symbolic elements. This project celebrates the importance plants in Shakespearean plays as an experience that comes together under a brand of book-seed packagings that encourage the audience to create and grow ones own Shakespearean Garden. Each seed pack is a book, which contains a test tube with seeds and a few pages with instructions, information, symbolism and history of the plant in the Shakespearean context. Project created in response to the 2011 ISTD Student Brief: Not Just Fleurons
